fortryllelsens dal

As the rock bears the weather — not a lot, just forever.

Velkommen! You’ve reached the landing page for Rasmus’ corner of my site. Here you can find basic information about him; use the index bar on the left to find more. All of these pages are constant works in progress (research on this boy is neverending!) and subject to change as his lore is tweaked and developed. This bio is, for the most part, not biased to any particular server lore — as such I have used the names of my auxiliary Nordic muses (Fálki for Iceland, Albin for Sweden, Aksel for Denmark) and OCs unless stated otherwise for practicality. They can easily be swapped for other interpretations though, his lore is flexible!

Note that this site is optimized for desktop, but it should be accessible on mobile too. The content box is scrollable.

Rasmus is the human personification of the Kingdom of Norway. He represents its long history between the mid-Viking Age – around 872 – to today, making him many centuries old. He isn’t a static character, nor is there an ending to his story; he continues to be affected by the happenings of his country, and he simply goes with its flow, like a rock bearing the ebb of the North Sea’s tides.

Ras is an extremely canon deviant interpretation of Norway from Hetalia. He became my muse on December 30th, 2010, but embodies my lifetime of fondness for Kongeriket Norge. He means a lot to me and represents a little fragment of my soul.

Note: Please refrain from referencing Rasmus when writing your own Norway. I am more than happy to share Norwegian history, but not to have my hard work lifted from. He is my character and not free to be used in roleplay by anyone else. That being said, if you have any questions about his biography, feel free to ask!
